I spent 24 hours in a shabby Paris hotel the other day. Not a great experience or nice way to see the city. I bought one of those Wallpaper* City Guides yesterday. For Paris. It makes me long for it and want to back so much. I adore Paris, and all that is holds. It has so much more than dirty London. Its so incredibly graceful, and elegant. With boulevards lined with chestnut trees and the oyster stalls of the Marais. Place Vendomes, and Rue Saint George.
I'm saving some money in the summer and making plans to go to Paris. The Wallpaper* guide gives you ideas to see the best bits that I haven't seen yet. I’m sure I could devise something... but the guide does have cool bars and cafés in it. I just need someone to go with.
